Private Clinic IPTV Contract

MKB International, a leading system provider of applications for triple play and multiple IP streams, announced that the prestigious private Clinic has deployed IPTV and video on demand (VOD) services for patient entertainment using solutions from leading IPTV vendors.

MKB International integrated the various technical elements of the system into a single, end-to-end solution. A Wall Mount TV Screen is available to the patient along with the PC terminal with touch sensitive screen next to each of the clinic's 270 beds. Patients can use the PC Terminals to control the Wall Mount TV Screens instead of using the remotes. Services include live television, films on demand and Radio. Facilities such as telephone, Internet, Microsoft Messenger, SMS, webcam, games, choice of meals and service satisfaction are available through the Touch Screen implemented by a 3rd party.

Medical staff can also use the screens to access patients' medical history and records such as x-rays, charts and medication using the PC Terminal.
