MKB International Ltd - About Us

Since the formation of MKB Telecommunications and subsequently MKB International, the expertise of our company has been to offer turnkey solutions offering both new and re-furbished equipment. Whilst offering re-furbished equipment as a part of the solution we ensured the warranty for the entire project would be identical to providing as for new equipment.

MKB during the first 5 to 7 years mainly targeted customers in the Public and Private Operator industry requiring solution for increasing traffic but retaining current bandwidth mainly sourced from the Satellite. In this instance our Compression (DCME) Equipment sourced from 3rd parties was relevant meet customer requirements, which then allowed us to build a substantial worldwide customer base.

MKB around the same time launched the Telecom Revenue Assurance system (Switchblade), which targeted Telcos. These are International Switching centres employing SS7 platforms and have in place international links for their traffic. Our customer base is mainly in Africa and the Caribbean.

MKB has since the last 3 years diversified in launching the IPTV platform targeting Hotels, Hospitals, Residential blocks/Villas and to some extent Telcos. We have also been able to design a Digital Signage system mainly for the Care Homes meet their in house information e.g. Menus, Staff, Events, Weather, etc.
